Edie Hand has produced and hosted weekly television shows and Holiday Specials on various TV channels and networks including RFD Television and FamilyNet (now known as The Cowboy Channel). Her show Rx for Healthy Lifestyles featured guests discussing various health issues including diabetes, Alzheimers, and vascular health.  The Holiday Memories shows featured many famous singers, writers, and entertainers including Buddy Killen, Charlie Pride, Waylon Jennings, John Schneider, Ronnie  McDowell, and many more.

Hosted by Edie Hand and Dr. Daniel Potts. In this week’s show, Edie speaks with Dr. Joycelyn Atchison from Children’s of Alabama about diabetes. We also sit down with Joye Taylor at Children’s to talk about how diet impacts diabetes, and how the newer insulin pumps work. Dr. Evelyn Higgins tells us about the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Finally, Edie chats with Richard Epstein, the oldest person alive in the Southeast living with Type 1, or Juvenile Diabetes.
