Founder of the Women of True Grit franchise, Edie Hand, shares highlights of former Alabama First Ladies, Marsha Folsom and Patsy Riley. She will share how they overcame challenges of hard things and turned them into beautiful situations.
During their public service, both women served their state of Alabama and their Governors to help build 
better tomorrows. Learn how they helped restore the Governor’s Mansion for the people and, through their outreach efforts, helped women and children find hope again.
They formed a sisterhood through their compassion to help others find the tools to win in life. These women continue to help with educational efforts, including reading, leadership, and other service deeds.
These two ladies have shown their “True Grit” and clearly understand that great resilience is transformative. Join us on the first airing of this documentary on Thursday March 20th at 8pm central on Alabama Public Television across Alabama.
